YMCA Guest Policy:
The YMCA is a member facility. YMCA members may bring guests to the YMCA except in the months of January - March. No community member may use the YMCA other than when accompanied by a member. The only exceptions are those who are visiting from another YMCA 60 miles away or more and those who posses a YMCA guest pass. Guests who live in the community and surrounding counties can only use the YMCA up to 3 times a year. To accommodate our members no guest passes can be used or issued January 1st through March 15th.
All guest are to abide by YMCA policy and procedures. YMCA members are responsible for the behavior of their guest. Both Guest and Members will be held liable for any intentional damage to YMCA property. Authorities will be contacted if anyone is caught vandalizing the facility, destroying property, threatening staff or Y members. Theft or vandalism will result in the loss of your YMCA membership.
Things to Know:
-Members are to check-in at the Welcome Center with their membership card
at each visit (A Y card can be replaced for $3.00)
- Payment for membership or program is to be made at the time of registration.
- Members receive a discount on every YMCA program
- YMCA takes VISA and Master Card in addition to cash and personal check for program payment.
- The YMCA offers assistance for community members who cannot afford YMCA membership or program.
- For your safety and in respect to others members cannot change clothes in the
restroom area or bathroom stalls.
-NO WET SWIM SUITS are to be worn into the restroom area. (Please towel off)
- Those in the restroom area must be clothed or covered.
- Members and guest must shower before using the pool.
- If you forget your towel one may be rented for $1.00.
- To avoid suspect only those changing clothes should be in the locker room area.
- We strongly encourage the use of locks in the locker room. (No locks overnight)
- All TV units are for headphone use only. .
- Headphones and locks may be purchased at the Welcome Center for $6.00
- Food can only be consumed in the area designated “snack area” located near the
locker rooms.
- NO FOOD or carbonated drinks are to be in the lobby, fitness centers
or gyms. All spills should be reported to the staff immediately.
- Gym shoes must be worn to use cardio equipment or in the gymnasium
- Modest attire should be worn to workout or in any co-ed environment
- No pants with metal fasteners or belts may be worn when using weights and
strength equipment
- A 30 day written notice must be given to cancel a YMCA Membership bank draft
- Every member is to wipe down ALL fitness equipment after each use.
- ALL YMCA property, including our sport fields, is drug, alcohol and tobacco free.
- As a membership facility the YMCA has the right to restrict all guns, knives and items that may used as a weapon from entering the building. Thank you for cooperating.
