We are hiring an Aquatics Director, lifeguards, childcare counselors for summer camp and after-school, and nursery workers.

Camp Counselor

Join the YMCA team and become a camp/afterschool counselor. Here, you will be working day to day and side by side with children to create an atmosphere of compassion, enrichment, and fun!

Counselors are willing to plan activities/crafts on a daily basis, go outside & interact with children while monitoring their behavior. You must be constantly aware of your surroundings while following and enforcing rules & regulations. Must be a team player, time oriented, and quick thinking.

Experience with children preferred.

Pay rate: $13 an hour

schedule: Monday - Friday 6am-6pm

(no 12-hour shifts)

Requirements:

Must be 18 and older with a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Must pass a background check
Must complete required trainings within the first two weeks of being hired

CPR & First Aid Training

Lifeguard

Join our team of dedicated Lifeguards and help create a fun, safe aquatics environment: CHANGE LIVES. INCLUDING YOURS.
As a Lifeguard at our YMCA, you will have the opportunity to assure swimmer safety and create a positive aquatics atmosphere for pool users.

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old
Able to pass a swim test
Attend all trainings

Responsibilities:

Ensuring safety in and around the pool area
Responding appropriately to emergencies
Maintaining a clean, safe pool area
Communicating appropriately with parents, children, elderly participants and all members

Hours: Monday - Friday 5AM-9PM, Saturday 6AM-6PM, Sunday 12PM-6PM
